Hoka-Hey’s Stolen Heart

“Zidane” is
the puppy we kept from the breeding of our UK Brooklyn daughter
“Jinx” to
our own “Caesar” and
actually, he picked us as much as we picked him. We didn’t think we
could handle another male at the time, but I held back placing him with all
kinds of excuses. Eventually I faced
facts; he wasn’t going anywhere, and he and I finally convinced
Malcolm of the same thing!
Zidane is
a high energy puppy, and requires more mental stimulation than one less
active, but he’s as smart as he is adorable, and has been learning
all kinds of useful commands. Of
course Tundra and our Mini Bull Terrier “Ruud” also help keep
him from getting bored! Zidane’s an extremely affectionate and loving
guy, and appreciates the company of other dogs as much as people.
It’s just one of his many endearing qualities, and like his name
indicates, he stole our hearts when we were least expecting it. He also
stole the heart off his Daddy Caesar’s chest – they’re
identical!
Zidane is
a beautiful rich black brindle, with sparkling white markings and a sweet
typey face. His body is very well balanced, with a rock solid topline, a
gorgeous thick tightly curled tail, and a strong, clean front and rear,
even at this age. We’re
loving Zidane, and so eager to see how he will grow.
