Ch.Hoka-Hey's Eagle When She Flies, CGC, ROMP   is "Sealy".  She is a Matchi daughter and although an impeccably sound little tank as a youngster, it took her a couple of years to mature.  When bred to Joey, she gave us a selection of gorgeous girls and boys that were to become vital to the evolution of our breeding program. Sealy is the mom of both American and Canadian champions, multiple Breed winners, Specialty winners, Obedience title winners, and many OFA Excellents.  She was bred a total of three times, always to Joey, as we were unable to find any male more complimentary.  It was the first time we had repeated a breeding, and it was the best decision we ever made. Her daughters Scarlet and Cherokee, the only two Sealy daughters we ever bred, are both ROM producers themselves, giving Sealy the "P" at the end of her ROM (Register of Merit) for 'Producer'.
Sealy is a fiery, playful, devoted, loving companion, and a dynamo!  She retired several years ago from the whelping box and show ring, but still dominates our daily lives with her antics and irresistible personality.  Sealy's one of those dogs that refuses to be ignored! And she certainly put us on the right track as far as what we wanted to produce.  We see her influence in her daughters as well as many of her grandkids and great grandkids, and hopefully it will continue well beyond the present. She gave us so much of the basics; super soundness, flawless fronts, great hips and lots of substance! We're warmed to recognize that familiar 'fire in the eyes' of some of her progeny. Sealy is and always will be our special girl.

SEALY is OFA Excellent!
