Ch. Hoka-Hey Rocks Misty
Mountain!
Our Cherokee/Brew litter definitely
produced some exceptional puppies, and “Rocket” is another of
them!
Had
we been in a position to keep another boy here, he would have been it! We
loved this baby from day one,
but were committed to
keeping a girl – Bella. Still, we couldn’t let go entirely, so
we thought about who we knew that would be a perfect home, and Barbara and
Shawn Davis of Misty Mountain Akitas
immediately came to mind. We were thrilled when they fell in love with the
Rocket-Dog much the same way we had, and couldn’t get him home
quickly enough! And who can blame them? This is a loving, energetic,
spirited beautiful boy that lacks for nothing as
far as type,
temperament, movement, structure, health and flash! He’s the total package! We’re
proud of him at every age; he never had an ugly growth period, as shown by
all the photos below!
They include a stunning 4-month old,
a
barely 7-month-old Rocket on the day of his first match
(and
a Group 1!), shortly thereafter his first weekend out
at a
real show (and a Winners Dog/Best of Winners and
Best
Puppy!), and then Rocket’s next weekend which was
a Specialty weekend,
where he just happened to pick up a nice 5-point major – from puppy
class! And he finished in the same
style – another major with a Best of Breed, just to make it even more
special! We’re really excited
about this beautiful boy’s future, and it’s obvious that once again,
our lovely Cherokee has outdone herself!
Congratulations to Barb and Shawn; what a great job they did with Rocket’s care, and the great
handling – not to mention all that driving!!
