What can you say about a puppy of this
quality? That she’s ‘special’? That she makes her sire
and dam proud? That she’s as nice as anything we’ve produced or
owned? That she promises a very exciting future? We can say all that and
more. We can say Jubilee has amazed us with her continuing development of
excellence. She has the bone we strive for, the soundness we demand, the
type we pray for, and the temperament we love. She has surpassed our
expectations and is now making dreams come true. She’s an honour and
privilege to share our home and hopes with, and she excites us more each
day.
Jubilee is a big girl, with so much
substance and bone that she’s like a little rhino striding through
the house. She is so even tempered that even the wild Basenjis don’t
phase her. She is interested in everything, but shows a wisdom surprising
for her young age.
Jubilee is out of the incredible ”Bella”, and sired by Rusty
Short’s unbelievably beautiful, Best In Show winning “Beau”. A look at these two will give
a good indication of where a puppy like this comes from. We named her after
a song by The Clash – one of our all time favorite bands. London
Calling is more of a concept about life, as were the band themselves.
Jubilee is our concept of what an Akita puppy should be.
