       The Power And The Glory

We planned this breeding of Bella to Beau in hopes of finding a wonderful male puppy, and we were very successful - Caesar is that puppy. He is simply stunning – tons of size and bone, beautiful head, strong front, wide powerful rear, solid topline and perfectly set and curled tail.  His temperament is regal! He’s calm, intelligent, thoughtful, easy-going and loving, but also a playful hell-raiser when he wants to be. His gorgeous head and big lustrous black coat immediately draw attention everywhere he goes, and that’s only the beginning of people’s love affair with him. Most find it unbelievable that this big strong boy is still a puppy, but he’s always had an air of maturity to go with his exceptional size.  His first show was at the tender age of 9 months, and I chose to show Caesar in Bred By Exhibitor class. I’ve never been so determined to show any other dog I bred from that class; it’s usually harder, and it’s especially difficult for me to take off work to travel and show myself. But I am so proud of this dog, and so proud to be his breeder, that I wouldn’t have it any other way. And sure enough, his first weekend out, despite not really knowing what the show ring was all about, and me being a bit rusty, Caesar won a 4 point major, and Best of Winners, under long time breed expert, Robert Moore – who described him as “magnificent”.  We couldn’t say it any better ourselves!

 NOW A SPECIALTY WINNER!!!!!!

After Portland, Caesar traveled to Enumclaw, WA for the ACA Regional Specialty, where both Lamps and Sheva won last year (finishing Sheva’s championship).  Caesar was not to be outdone, and won a 5 point BOW major at the Specialty, and then won again Sunday from the Akita supported entry, finishing his championship in style!  And all before the age of 16 months!

We’re so excited about Caesar’s future, and will update this page with photos as he continues to grow and evolve into the classic representative of his superior pedigree.  Aside from everything else, we just love him so much for the amazing and unique individual he is.
